July 2011: Our journal Theoretical Biology and Medical Modelling, established seven years ago, has just received its first official impact factor: 1.60, above average for theoretical journals in this area. The rate of manuscript submissions has increased during the past two years and is now likely to increase further.

September-October 2011: We've contributed a chapter to a new multi-author book entitled Deep Venous Thrombosis, to be published by InTech in 2012. Our chapter relates our account of the aetiology of DVT to recent independent publications and explores the implications for prophylaxis.

 

BioScience has accepted our paper exploring a hypothesis about the evolutionary origins of autoimmune and other chronic diseases (which we attribute to the consequences of ancestral infections and epigenetic inheritance).
